Cobblestone
In the market square there was a cobblestone surface made of irregular small and medium-sized limestone. The surface was found at a depth range of 30–110 cm from present-day ground level in the northern part of the market square, next to the well and the alleged cold store. The cobblestone surface rested on a layer of yellow sand. This type of surface was not discovered in the vicinity of the town hall or the town weigh house. The surface there was probably destroyed.
