Cool Store
This small limestone building presents an interesting puzzle.
During the excavation, archaeologists discovered a solid limestone foundation with walls as thick as about a meter. The interior of the building is about 9 m², the faces of the walls were covered with beams cut flat. The floor was made of double crossed wooden boards. Within the site, archaeologists found an iron spearhead blade. This building may have already existed at the end of the Middle Ages (late 15th century) and may have been a cold house for storing goods.
